Imperium Financial Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a large, respected organisation to recruit an Internal Audit, Compliance & Project Co-ordinator.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious audit professional looking to move into a broad and varied role covering internal audit, compliance, risk management and business improvement projects.
The OpportunityWorking within the Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance team, you’ll play a key role in protecting the organisation’s financial integrity, improving operational processes and supporting strategic projects across multiple departments.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Conducting financial, operational and compliance audits.
*Preparing detailed audit reports with practical recommendations.
*Identifying risks and opportunities to strengthen internal controls.
*Supporting compliance and governance activities.
*Assisting with business improvement and organisational projects.
*Deputising for the Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance Officer when required.
*Working closely with stakeholders across head office and regional offices throughout the UK.
About YouWe’re looking for someone who has:
*CIA/CMIIA qualification (or currently studying towards one).
*Previous internal or external audit experience.
*Strong accounting, financial reporting and audit knowledge.
*Excellent analytical and report writing skills.
*Experience identifying financial risks and control weaknesses.
*Knowledge of GDPR and data protection legislation.
*Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
