As the Quality Engineer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring products and processes consistently meet customer and business quality standards. Working cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and Production teams, you’ll identify improvement opportunities, lead problem-solving activities and support a culture of continuous improvement.
Duties & responsibilities: *Analyse quality performance and non-conformance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
*Lead structured problem-solving activities using quality tools including 8D, A3 and 3C methodologies.
*Support New Product Development (NPD) and business improvement projects by providing quality engineering expertise.
*Maintain and continuously improve the company’s ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
*Lead supplier quality audits and work collaboratively with suppliers to improve performance.
*Coordinate external customer and certification audits, ensuring effective closure of corrective actions.
*Partner with Supply Chain teams to resolve supplier and component quality issues.
*Develop, monitor and analyse quality KPIs to improve performance, reduce waste and lower the cost of poor quality.
*Promote a culture of quality, compliance and continuous improvement throughout the business.
I’m keen to speak to Quality Engineer’s with the following experience:
*Experience of working in quality within manufacturing
*Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
*Experience leading internal, supplier and external audits.
*Proven experience using structured problem-solving methodologies including 8D.
*Experience of supporting New Product Development activities.
*A data-driven approach with the ability to analyse trends and identify improvement opportunities.
