Job Description:
Full job descriptionBaltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading advanced manufacturing business with their search for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing team based in Kirkbymoorside.
The successful candidate will play a key role in improving manufacturing processes, supporting production teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within a complex engineering environment. Experience within composites is advantageous, but candidates with transferable manufacturing engineering skills are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
*Identify and implement process improvements using Lean manufacturing techniques.
*Support production teams with process plans, job cards, and manufacturing documentation.
*Lead problem-solving activities and root cause analysis to reduce repeat issues.
*Support first-off builds, tooling requirements, and manufacturing improvements.
*Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to improve efficiency and product performance.
Key Requirements:
*Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
*Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and problem-solving methods.
*Strong communication and organisational skills.
*Engineering qualification (ONC/HNC) or relevant industry experience.
*Composites experience would be advantageous, but transferable manufacturing experience will be considered.
