The Talent Set are delighted to be partnering with the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) on a fantastic Events Assistant role. BAUS support healthcare professionals who treat urological patients to deliver excellent care by developing guidance for clinical practice, providing education and fostering research.


The successful candidate will support the planning and delivery of a variety of events, ensuring smooth organisation and exceptional experience for attendees. This is an opportunity to be part of a small friendly team within a vibrant, professional organisation dedicated to delivering high-quality events.


Key Responsibilities
*Assist in the end-to-end organisation and coordination of events, from initial planning stages through to post-event review.
*Liaise with suppliers, venues, and stakeholders to ensure event requirements are met effectively.
*Manage logistical arrangements including catering, accommodation, equipment, and registration processes.
*Support on-site event set-up, execution, and break-down, ensuring all elements run seamlessly.
*Contribute to the development of event materials and promotional resources as required.
*Provide excellent customer service and support to attendees, speakers, and partners.
*Assist in maintaining accurate records and evaluation reports to measure event success.
*Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies throughout all event activities.
Person Specification
*Experience in supporting or organising events, ideally within professional or membership organisations.
*Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage confidently with diverse stakeholders.
*Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and work effectively under pressure.
*Proactive approach with a focus on customer experience.
*Basic knowledge of event logistics, equipment, and health & safety protocols.
*Adaptability and a positive attitude to handle dynamic event environments.
