Fire Extinguisher Engineer Role Overview
We are recruiting for an experienced Fire Extinguisher Engineer to join a well-established and growing fire safety company.
This is predominantly a fire extinguisher servicing role, with the opportunity to carry out basic testing and servicing of emergency lighting and fire alarm systems where required. You’ll work across a varied commercial customer base, delivering a high standard of service while building strong client relationships.

Fire Extinguisher Engineer Role & Responsibilities
*Service, maintain and inspect portable fire extinguishers in accordance with current British Standards.
*Carry out basic testing and servicing of emergency lighting and fire alarm systems where required.
*Complete all relevant service documentation accurately and efficiently.
*Identify defects and recommend remedial works where appropriate.
*Provide excellent customer service whilst representing the company on client sites.
*Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
*Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment.
Fire Extinguisher Engineer Skills & Experience Required
*Previous experience servicing and maintaining portable fire extinguishers.
*Experience testing or servicing emergency lighting and/or fire alarm systems would be advantageous.
*Good knowledge of current fire safety standards and industry best practices.
*Full UK Driving Licence
*Able to successfully complete a DBS check
*Excellent communication and customer service skills
*Reliable, organised and able to work independently
