This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member of a growing finance team, supporting the delivery of accurate management accounts, insightful financial reporting and analysis that helps shape business decisions. Reconcile accounts and balance sheets, investigating and resolving discrepancies assist with Profit & Loss analysis and provide support with financial queries

What will you do as an Assistant Management Accountant?
*Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts in a timely manner
*Reconcile intercompany balances and loan accounts
*Review company credit card analysis and maintain controls
*Prepare monthly sales data and reporting for key customers
*Maintain monthly rebate registers and approve customer repayment invoices
*Prepare and submit VAT returns
What do you need as an Assistant Management Accountant?
*Previous experience preparing or supporting management accounts
*Strong understanding of month-end processes, reconciliations and financial reporting
*Experience with journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
*Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines
*Knowledge of CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) would be advantageous
*AAT qualified or equivalent experience
