Full job descriptionGrab Wagon Driver / Operator - Sheffield (ASAP Start)Location:Sheffield Pay Rate: £21.00 per hour Hours: Monday-Friday, 07:30-16:00 (40 hours per week + overtime available) Contract: Approx. 3 months (potential extension)
About the RoleBerry Recruitment is working on behalf of a client to recruit an experienced Grab Wagon Driver / Clamshell Operator for an immediate start in Sheffield. This role is ideal for someone with strong civils, highways or materials-handling experience who is confident operating grab wagons and managing site movements safely.
Key Responsibilities*Operating a grab wagon with clamshell attachment
*Transporting materials including stone, concrete, muck and tarmac
*Lifting pallets using straps
*Supporting depot and site teams with material movements
*Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
*Working safely and efficiently within site guidelines
Requirements*Valid Grab Wagon licence / operator certification
*Experience using clamshell grab equipment
*Strong understanding of material handling and site safety
*Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
*Immediate availability preferred
What’s on Offer*£21.00 per hour
*Monday-Friday daytime hours
