Full job descriptionTiger Private is partnering with an exceptional private Tuscan estate in the search for an experienced Live-in Assistant Majordomo. The property is a historic, beautifully restored residence set within extensive grounds, including vineyards and olive groves, and operates to the highest standards of luxury private service. The estate is located 45 minutes outside Florence.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven private service professional to work closely alongside the Major-Domo, providing a high level of support across all aspects of the household’s operation. The role offers genuine scope for personal development, with exposure to every facet of running a UHNW estate at the highest level.

The estate already has a full complement of staff in place – including cleaners, gardeners, pool attendants, maintenance staff, cooks, chefs, and butlers – along with an Operations Manager who reports directly to the Major-Domo and provides dedicated technical and administrative support to both the Major-Domo and Assistant Major-Domo.

The Assistant Majordomo will support the seamless running of the household and its surrounding buildings, helping to lead and motivate the wider team and contribute to a harmonious working environment. While carrying less overall responsibility than the Major-Domo, the role plays a key part in the day-to-day operations of the estate and offers hands-on involvement across the full scope of household management.

Responsibilities include assisting with staff coordination, operational planning, maintenance scheduling, service standards, and guest experience. The Assistant Majordomo will support with guest itineraries, arrivals and departures, dining and events, and help ensure the estate is presented impeccably at all times. The role also offers involvement in ongoing estate projects, including agricultural operations, new facilities, and the development of service procedures and systems.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, discreet, and service-driven, with strong communication skills and a genuine desire to grow within a UHNW private household environment. Fluency in Italian and English is essential, along with prior experience in a House Manager, Majordomo, or senior butler/assistant capacity within a private household or estate.

A valid driving licence and EU right to work are essential.
