Role Description
I’m working with a well-established accountancy practice that is looking to appoint an Associate Accountant to join its growing team.
Working alongside an experienced Relationship Manager, you’ll support a varied portfolio of clients across all areas of general practice, including accounts, tax, payroll, VAT, bookkeeping and management accounts, while building strong client relationships and delivering a high standard of service.

What you’ll do
*Prepare annual accounts, personal and business tax returns, management accounts, VAT returns, payroll and bookkeeping.
*Communicate directly with clients to obtain information and support ongoing relationships.
*Ensure client work is completed accurately, efficiently and within commercial timescales.
*Complete VAT and PAYE registrations, bookkeeping software setups and maintain accurate client records.


What you’ll need
*AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
*Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice.
*Experience preparing accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, payroll or bookkeeping.
*Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
