*Job Type: Temporary (3 Months)

*Salary: £13.90 per hour
*Hours: 37 hrs per week (flexible timings)
*Days: Monday – Friday (very occasional weekends/evenings with time off in lieu)
*Hybrid: Flexible (to be confirmed once fully trained)
*Start Date: August
We are actively seeking a proactive, experienced and enthusiastic Business SupportOfficer to support a busy team within a Local Authority. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, process driven and high-quality customer service skills.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Act as a first point of contact for residents, partners, and stakeholders, responding to enquiries via phone, email, and online channels.
*Maintain databases, online systems, filing systems, records, and documentation
*Adhere to compliance, statutory requirements, GDPR, and safeguarding.
*Assist with planning, organising, and delivering community projects and events.
*Organise meetings, maintain calendars, take minutes, distribute information
*Administrative support
*Raising PO’s and general finance admin
*Work collaboratively with stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word & Excel)
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
*Proven experience in administration and customer service.
*Ability to prioritise workloads.
*Meeting organisation and minute-taking skills.
*Proactive can-do attitude to work.
*Process driven with a passion for helping to make a difference.
*Good understanding of financial administration.
