*Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
*Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Reed is recruiting on behalf of a leading UK distributor and manufacturer based in Normanton, our client is seeking a Technical Sales Support Advisor to provide expert advice and support to their customers.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Handle customer enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email
*Prepare and send customer quotations and follow up proactively to convert enquiries into sales
*Provide product advice and recommendations to customers visiting the showroom
*Process customer orders from quotation stage through to completion, ensuring a smooth transaction
*Build and maintain strong relationships with both B2B and B2C customers
*Offer technical product guidance on plant machinery, lawn and garden equipment, and related parts and accessories
*Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct technical parts and components
*Maintain exemplary customer service throughout the full sales journey
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous experience in a technical sales support role
*Experience in identifying, sourcing, and advising customers on technical parts is advantageous
*Excellent communication skills, with confidence in dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone
*Skilled in producing quotations and managing order processes
*Commercially minded, with the ability to upsell and follow through on opportunities
*Organised and proactive, capable of managing multiple customer enquiries effectively
*Background in plant hire, machinery, construction equipment, agricultural, forestry, outdoor power equipment, or technical parts sales is highly desirable
