Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are seeking an experienced Children’s Registered Home Manager to lead a residential children’s home, inspiring teams and creating positive outcomes for young people.
Position: Children’s Registered Home Manager
Salary: Up to £78,000
Location: Haslingden, Lancashire
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager, or a Deputy Manager ready to take the next step, to lead a children’s residential home where young people feel safe, supported and empowered to achieve.
You will have the freedom to lead, make decisions and develop a positive culture, with support from experienced operational, HR, recruitment, quality and therapeutic teams.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading the day-to-day operation of the home
• Developing, supporting and inspiring a high-performing team
• Delivering outstanding safeguarding and therapeutic care
• Driving quality, compliance and continuous improvement
• Building strong relationships with local authorities and partner agencies
• Managing occupancy, budgets and performance
• Preparing for and achieving positive Ofsted inspections
• Creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive
About YouYou will be a compassionate and motivated leader who believes every child deserves exceptional care and support.
You will bring:
• Experience as a Children’s Registered Manager or experience as a Deputy Manager ready to progress
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
• A commitment to safeguarding and achieving positive outcomes for children
• Knowledge of quality standards, compliance and Ofsted requirements
• The ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and external partners
Previous experience as a Children’s Registered Manager or at least two years’ experience as a Children’s Deputy Manager would be beneficial.
