The RoleAs a Support Worker, you will provide vital support to clients with a range of needs—from mild to challenging learning disabilities, mental health issues, and physical disabilities. You’ll work in and around the Leeds area, helping individuals live more independently while delivering person-centred care and encouragement.
Responsibilities*Supporting clients with daily living tasks and personal care according to individual needs
*Encouraging independence and positive choices
*Assisting with medication where trained
*Building positive relationships with clients and colleagues
*Adapting to different care environments across various settings
Skills and Experience*Minimum of six months’ experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health issues, or physical disabilities
*A full driver’s licence is an advantage but not essential
*Medications training is useful—if you don’t have this, training will be provided
*Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not offered)
*Reliability, flexibility, and a compassionate, proactive approach to care
Location and Package*Role based in Scarborough, with clients located in and around the Leeds area
*Contract/agency position with flexible hours to fit your lifestyle
