Are you an experienced Electrical Supervisor looking to lead the delivery of critical maintenance services across a complex and diverse estate? We are seeking an experienced person to provide operational and technical leadership for electrical maintenance activities across two large campus locations.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Maintenance & Infrastructure, you will take responsibility for the delivery of planned and reactive electrical maintenance services, ensuring compliance, reliability, safety, and exceptional customer service across the estate. You’ll lead a team of electrical professionals, manage maintenance contracts, and act as the organisation’s subject matter expert on all electrical engineering matters.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead the delivery of all electrical planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
*Act as Authorised Person (Electrical) and issue permits to work.
*Manage and develop a team of Approved Electricians and maintenance staff.
*Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance across electrical systems and engineering assets.
*Oversee CAFM-managed maintenance programmes and ensure service level agreements are achieved.
*Coordinate contractors and specialist service providers.
*Provide technical advice, reports, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
*Drive continuous improvement and implement best practice across maintenance operations.
*Support long-term asset management and maintenance strategies for an ageing and complex estate.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
*HNC/HND, ONC in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
*Extensive experience managing electrical building services within a complex operational environment.
*Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, health and safety legislation, and Hard FM best practice.
*Experience using CAFM systems and maintenance management software.
*Demonstrable leadership experience, including managing technical teams and contractors.
*Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
*The ability to produce technical reports, option appraisals, and business recommendations.
Desirable
*IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent HSE qualification.
