About the RoleWe are recruiting for a motivated and customer-focused Relief Customer Sales Advisor to join a leading self-storage provider.
This is a varied, customer-facing sales role where no two days are the same. You’ll be based at a designated home store within the region but will provide planned and ad hoc cover across the Islington, Sunbury, Twickenham and Streatham stores, supporting the business wherever required.
As a Relief Customer Sales Advisor, you’ll deliver an outstanding customer experience while driving sales performance, supporting store operations and ensuring continuity across multiple locations. From handling enquiries and closing sales to maintaining high store standards, you’ll play a key role in the success of the regional team.
Flexibility and a willingness to travel between stores are essential for this position. Travel to and from your designated home store is considered your normal commute and is not reimbursed. However, when covering at any of the other regional stores, authorised business travel beyond your normal commute will be reimbursed in line with the company’s travel expenses policy.
Key Responsibilities*Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective customer engagement and closing sales.
*Provide tailored storage solutions based on customer needs and circumstances.
*Manage enquiries via phone, email and in person, ensuring a seamless customer journey.
*Support the day-to-day operation of different stores, adapting quickly to each location.
*Maintain high standards within each store, ensuring a welcoming, clean and professional environment.
*Actively promote products and services, highlighting key benefits and value.
*Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
*Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and company procedures at all times.
*Support overall store performance and contribute to business growth across the region.
Working Hours*Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 18:00 (rota-based shifts)
*Saturday: 09:00 – 18:00
*Sunday: 10:00 – 16:00
Candidate Requirements*Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
*Confident communicator, both face-to-face and over the phone.
*Customer-focused with a passion for delivering excellent service.
*Self-motivated, enthusiastic and adaptable, with the ability to work across multiple locations.
*Flexible to travel and support the Islington, Sunbury, Twickenham and Streatham stores as required.
*Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple enquiries.
