Full job descriptionAn established professional services organisation is seeking an Immigration Assistant to join its Immigration team on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract with strong potential for permanence. The role will support experienced immigration advisers with a broad range of business and private client immigration matters while providing excellent career development opportunities.

The Immigration team forms part of a wider Employment, Mobility and Pensions practice and advises clients on a full range of UK immigration matters.
Description
*Supporting immigration advisers and senior team members with active client matters.
*Preparing Certificates of Sponsorship and managing updates through online sponsorship systems.
*Assisting with sponsor licence and visa application preparation.
*Uploading and organising supporting documentation for applications.
*Liaising with government authorities regarding queries, appointments and priority services.
*Communicating with clients to gather information and support application preparation.
*Maintaining immigration databases and tracking visa and sponsor licence information.
*Conducting legal and regulatory research and providing wider administrative support to the team.
Profile
*Previous immigration experience is advantageous but not essential.
*Degree educated or possessing equivalent relevant experience.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
*Excellent written, analytical and communication skills.
*Well organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
*Proactive, enthusiastic and keen to develop a career in immigration law.
*Client-focused with a collaborative approach to working within a team.
