Job Description:
Full job descriptionJob Title: Resident Manager (Student Accomodation)
Location: Durham
Assignment: Temporary ongoing
Hours: 37.5 hours Monday - Friday 7am - 7pm on a rota basis to be agreed on site
Hourly Rate: £12.71
Duties:
*Scheduling maintenance tasks. Room inspections.
*Dealing with student queries.
*Key holding experience as may be required to be on site to take over from night porter. Able to work alone.
*Accurately complete reports and administrative tasks maintaining customer data, ensuring the database is up to date
*Maintaining the lettings database (CRM)
*Reporting all Health & Safety issues to the General Manager to allow investigation and actions to be completed
*Building and maintain close relationships with local business’s, key stakeholders and statutory bodies
*Ensuring the building is always presented in a clean and tidy manner ( in line with H&S regulations)
*Receiving and processing payments from residents and monitoring and chasing rent arrears
*Ensuring all statutory testing is completed on time and recorded as appropriate, ensuring the property fully complies with all relevant legislation
*Identifying new opportunities to add value to the site and services the site delivers
*Assessing and organising a prompt completion of repairs using in-house staff and external contractors
