Description
*Lead the development and maintenance of the organisation’s Medium-Term Financial Plan.
*Coordinate and oversee the annual budget setting process.
*Provide strategic financial advice to senior executives, leadership teams, and key stakeholders.
*Support robust financial governance and effective decision-making across the organisation.
*Manage and develop members of the financial planning and business partnering team.
*Monitor key financial resources including reserves, provisions, and corporate budgets.
*Lead statutory and government financial returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
*Contribute to major transformation programmes, business cases, and strategic projects.
*Prepare high-profile financial reports for senior leadership and governance forums.
*Deputise for senior finance leadership when required and represent the organisation at key meetings and external networks.


Profile
* Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, and financial management.
*Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
*Experience operating at a senior level and advising executive leaders.
*A thorough understanding of governance, statutory reporting, and financial controls.
*The ability to lead teams, drive performance, and develop talent.
*Commercial acumen with experience supporting transformation, change, and investment decisions.
*Excellent communication skills and the confidence to present complex financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences.
*A proactive, solution-focused approach with the ability to navigate complex and evolving environments.
