Full job descriptionWe are currently working in partnership with government body in central Kent, who are looking to appoint a HR Assistant on a 12-month FTC.


This will be a full-time position based in Kent, with hybrid working (2/3 days home working) and a salary of £27,000 to £28,500 per annum.


The successful candidate will have HR Administrative experience, will be a technology savvy individual and will ideally have experience working with the iTrent system


Duties will include (but are not limited to):
*Acing as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing advice and administrative support to employees, managers, and candidates via email, telephone, and face-to-face interactions.
*Coordinating the end-to-end recruitment administration, including interview scheduling, assessment delivery, pre-employment checks, offer documentation, onboarding, work experience placements, and probation processes.
*Maintaining accurate employee records and processed HR transactions within the iTrent HR/Payroll system, including payroll changes, recruitment, sickness, maternity administration, training records, contracts, and employee correspondence while ensuring GDPR compliance.
*Supporting the learning and development activities by organising training events, managing bookings, coordinating logistics, promoting opportunities, administering feedback surveys, and arranging HR and payroll-related meetings and events.
*Processing invoices, maintained electronic filing systems, produced HR reports and management information, monitored long service awards, and ensured accurate financial and administrative record keeping.
*Contribute to HR projects and employee engagement initiatives, including recruitment fairs, health and wellbeing events, and corporate working groups, while providing general office and administrative support to the HR Shared Services team.
Experience required:
*Experience required in HR Administration
*Strong experience on HR Systems ideally iTrent
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
*Payroll
*HR Query Escalation
*Compliance and due diligence
