Overview

Part of Gallagher’s national Retail, Leisure, and Hospitality Practice, this role is integral to delivering exceptional client service and driving strategic growth across our specialist sectors. Representing Corporate and Mid-Corporate UK and International clients, you will lead a risk management-led service proposition, harness our niche expertise and deliver tailored solutions to address the challenges and opportunities faced by our clients.
Based in Ipswich, you will join a highly talented team renowned for offering market-leading products and managing the placement of complex insurance programmes. How you’ll make an impact

Strategic Client Relationship Management
*Lead the development and management of high-value client relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted strategic partner.
*Conduct in-depth analysis of client needs, anticipate future requirements, and deliver innovative, tailored insurance and risk management solutions.
*Oversee and participate in client reviews to ensure satisfaction, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.
Renewal & Policy Management
*Oversee the full renewal process, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive strategies, placement, and timelines.
*Present terms and solutions that align with client objectives and business goals.
*Provide expert guidance to Account Executives, ensuring technical excellence and the resolution of complex queries.
Business Development & Growth
*Drive business growth by identifying, developing, and converting high-value opportunities in collaboration with internal and external sales teams.
*Lead strategic planning and execution to expand the client portfolio and achieve revenue targets.
*Facilitate workshops and strategy sessions, leveraging internal and external resources to deliver innovative solutions.
Insurance Solutions & Risk Management
*Provide expert advice across a diverse range of insurance products and risk management solutions.
*Partner with clients to develop and implement robust risk management strategies that align with their business objectives.
Operational Leadership & Excellence
*Champion adherence to compliance, regulatory, and due diligence standards across all client engagements.
*Proactively manage escalated queries and ensure timely resolution of complex issues, including debt management.
*Stay ahead of market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging risks to provide clients with cutting-edge insights and solutions.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
*Inspire and mentor internal teams fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
*Share expertise and contribute to the development of team capabilities, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with strategic objectives.

About You

*Proven track record in a Senior Account Executive role within our specialisms.
*Developed industry knowledge and networks.
*Extensive knowledge of insurance products, markets, and placement strategies, with a focus on complex and high-value accounts.
*Demonstrable expertise in managing and growing strategic client relationships, delivering exceptional retention rates, and driving new business growth.
*Advanced negotiation and influencing skills, with a history of achieving positive outcomes for clients and the business.
*Strong understanding of compliance, regulatory frameworks, and risk management practices.
*Exceptional leadership and mentoring capabilities, with a commitment to team development and fostering a high-performance culture.
*Eligible to work in the UK and willing to travel as required.
