The role, based in Gloucester, is offered on a 12 month fixed-term contract and will involve managing key accounting processes to ensure accurate financial reporting

*Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
*Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts for various business units.
*Provide financial insights and reports to assist decision-making processes.
*Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
*Assist in the preparation of year-end audits and liaise with auditors as required.
*Monitor and report on variances, offering recommendations for improvements.
*Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
*Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency within the Accounting & Finance department.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
*Professional accountancy qualifications or relevant studies in Accounting & Finance.
*Prior experience in management accounting or a similar role within the Technology & Telecoms industry.
*Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
*Proficiency in financial software and Excel for reporting and analysis.
*Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
*Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
