Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 (depending on experience)
A well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join its growing Leeds office. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality geotechnical and geoenvironmental solutions across the UK, this is an excellent opportunity to join a company that invests heavily in employee development and offers clear career progression.
You’ll work on a diverse portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, infrastructure and industrial developments, taking projects from site investigation through to detailed geotechnical design.
The Geotechnical Engineer RoleAs a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
*Planning and supervising ground investigations.
*Logging soil and rock samples to current standards.
*Producing factual and interpretative geotechnical reports.
*Carrying out geotechnical analysis and foundation recommendations.
*Liaising with clients, contractors and design teams.
*Assisting with slope stability, retaining wall and foundation design.
*Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Requirements*Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
*Experience within a UK geotechnical consultancy.
*Knowledge of UK ground investigation practices.
*Experience producing geotechnical reports.
*Full UK driving licence.
*Strong communication and organisational skills.
