Full job descriptionThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Patent Formalities professional looking to join a supportive and well-established firm in Bristol.
The successful applicant should have a minimum of two years’ experience working within a busy patent function. Holding a CIPA qualification would be a distinct advantage, although it is not essential. Candidates should be confident in preparing and submitting patent documentation, managing official communications, liaising with clients, and maintaining accurate patent records.
Working as part of a collaborative and fast-moving patent team, you will provide day-to-day support to Fee Earners and take responsibility for a broad range of patent formalities duties, including:
*Preparing and filing patent applications and related documentation.
*Managing client correspondence and acting as a key point of contact.
*Processing official communications from patent offices.
*Liaising with the records department ensuring deadlines are met.
*Billing duties including invoicing and preparing cost estimates.
