Our client, a fast-growing, locally focused residential block and estate management business, is reshaping their team so Property Managers handle smaller, better-supported portfolios and can genuinely build relationships with residents and directors.


In this new Property Manager role, you’ll be based from their Taunton office, taking ownership of around 25–30 developments (circa units) and becoming the face of an award winning business.


This is a growth hire, not a backfill; the portfolio is being restructured to add an additional Property Manager, so your patch will be more manageable and more impactful.


You’ll report to the Operations Director, work closely with other Property Managers and internal departments, and have a clear, realistic path towards Head of Property Management and the senior leadership team within the next couple of years if you perform well in the role.


What You’ll Do


As a Property Manager, take end-to-end ownership of a portfolio of 25 - 30 residential block and estate developments, ensuring everything runs smoothly for residents, directors, and clients.
Act as the face of the business for your sites, confidently running AGMs and director meetings and building long-term, trusted relationships.
Use the company’s local, joined-up approach to secure fast support from internal teams rather than battling remote central departments.
Lead and coordinate projects across your developments, with the opportunity to take on larger or more complex schemes as you grow.
Bring a highly organised, methodical approach to managing multiple tasks and deadlines, keeping your portfolio under control without burning out.
Shape how the wider property management team operates as the business grows, with a direct line into senior decision-makers.


What You’ll Bring


Solid experience in block and estate property management with a managing agent, ideally 2–3+ years running your own portfolio.
Strong client-facing skills, with confidence chairing AGMs and meetings with directors and other stakeholders.
A highly organised, detail-focused and methodical way of working, able to manage multiple developments and priorities at once.
Evidence of loyalty and commitment in previous roles, rather than frequent job moves.
Desirable qualifications such as ATP-I, MTP-I or RICS, and/or experience on larger sites, major projects or high-rise buildings.
A collaborative, supportive approach, working closely with colleagues across departments to deliver great outcomes for clients.

Salary in the £30,000–£35,000 range, with £35,000 available for experienced Property Managers.
