Salary: £35,000 - £43,000 + Bonus
A well-established and growing independent insurance brokerage is seeking a Commercial
New Business Account Executive to join its team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded insurance professional who
enjoys developing new business, building lasting client relationships, and delivering
tailored insurance solutions to a broad range of commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and develop new commercial insurance opportunities through networking, referrals, and business development activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and professional introducers.
- Prepare and present insurance quotations tailored to client requirements.
- Negotiate with insurers to secure suitable cover and competitive terms.
- Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and manage follow-up activity effectively.
- Ensure all documentation, records, and communications are completed accurately and compliantly.
About You:
- Previous experience within commercial insurance, ideally in a client-facing or new business role.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development.
- Good understanding of commercial insurance products and market practices.
- Committed to delivering excellent customer service and maintaining regulatory standards.
