Interim Financial Controller (Maternity Cover) — Fixed-Term Contract
Via is supporting a well-established brand activation and retail marketing agency based in SW London with the recruitment of a Financial Controller to cover maternity leave on a fixed-term contract basis.
The business works with a number of major international brands and has recently returned to independent ownership following a management buyout from its previous parent group. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established, creatively-led agency at an interesting point in its ownership journey.
The role:
Reporting to the CFO, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, managing a small finance team and ensuring continuity through the maternity leave period.
Responsibilities:
*Full ownership of month-end management accounts and reporting
*Managing and developing a small finance team
*Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
*Overseeing statutory year-end accounts and the audit process
*Maintaining and strengthening financial controls
*Business partnering with senior stakeholders across the agency
What we’re looking for:
*Proven Financial Controller or senior Finance Manager experience, ideally within agency, media or professional services environments
*Experience managing a small team
*Comfortable stepping into an established finance function with limited handover
*Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred
*Available for an immediate/short-notice start

*Salary: c.£75,000
*Location: SW London, hybrid
*Contract length: Maternity cover, 9–12 months, fixed-term contract
