Full job descriptionAn excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional with strong sales ledger experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining accurate financial records, and delivering excellent customer service.


Key Responsibilities*Manage the sales ledger by processing and maintaining customer accounts accurately and efficiently.
*Raise and issue customer invoices, credit notes, statements, and other account documentation in a timely manner.
*Allocate incoming customer payments and reconcile customer accounts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
*Monitor outstanding invoices, liaising with customers to resolve payment and invoice queries while supporting the timely collection of outstanding balances.
*Maintain accurate customer account records and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly within the accounting system.
*Produce aged debtor reports and provide updates on outstanding balances and account status.
*Assist with Credit Control duties while maintaining good relationships with clients


Skills and Experience*Minimum of one year’s recent experience in a Sales Ledger Clerk, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or Finance Assistant role
*Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve account discrepancies.
*Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to build positive working relationships
