Job Description:
Full job descriptionO ur client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Account Executive to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on experience across both customer account management and supply chain operations within a well established and successful business.
This varied role offers excellent exposure to commercial activities, customer management, and end to end supply chain coordination, making it ideal for someone looking to develop a long term career within the industry.
DAY TO DAY:
* Supporting the management of customer accounts and building strong working relationships.
* Processing customer orders and ensuring accurate and timely fulfilment.
* Monitoring customer requirements, forecasts, and sales performance.
* Preparing sales reports, customer reviews, and performance data.
* Liaising with customers regarding product availability, specifications, and delivery schedules.
* Supporting the Commercial Manager with the development and growth of existing customer accounts.
* Coordinating the daily movement of products from suppliers through to customers.
* Monitoring stock levels and inventory to minimise waste and maximise availability.
* Proactively communicating any supply chain issues and identifying practical solutions.
* Ensuring all sales orders, delivery documentation, and invoicing are processed accurately.
* Assisting with demand planning and forecasting activities.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Good numerical and analytical ability.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
* Previous experience within fresh produce, food, agriculture, logistics, or supply chain would be highly advantageous.
