Full job descriptionHGV Class 2 Driver – Temp to Perm Opportunity
A&G Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of a well-established pallet network operator based in Reading for an experienced HGV Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver.
This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a professional and reliable driver looking for regular weekday work with no weekend or bank holiday commitments.
The Role
*Delivering palletised goods to private customer premises and local businesses
*Multi-drop deliveries within the local area
*Completing two delivery runs per day
*Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and professionally
*Completing all relevant delivery paperwork and vehicle checks
Working Hours
*Monday to Friday only
*No weekends
*No Bank Holidays
*8:00am start time
*10 hours guaranteed per shift
Pay Rates
Temporary Period:
*£17.00 per hour plus holiday pay
*£19.00 per hour inclusive of holiday pay
Permanent Position:
*£17.50 per hour
*22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
*Bank Holidays paid
Requirements
*Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
*Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
*Previous multi-drop experience
*Pallet network experience is essential
*Good customer service skills and a professional attitude
