We are recruiting for an experienced Conveyancer to join a Property department based in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident fee earner who can manage their own caseload while supervising junior staff and maintaining high compliance standards.
The RoleYou will handle a full residential caseload from instruction through to completion, ensuring all matters are progressed efficiently and clients receive exceptional service. Alongside fee-earning, you will supervise paralegals and assistants, support their development, and ensure all work meets regulatory and firm standards.
This role suits someone organised, proactive and comfortable working within a compliance-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities*Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload in line with firm procedures
*Progressing matters efficiently and keeping clients updated on costs and timelines
*Maintaining high standards of client care and professional communication
*Ensuring confidentiality and security of all client and firm documentation
*Achieving agreed billing and time recording targets
*Overseeing credit control on your own matters
*Supervising junior fee earners and support staff
*Conducting and completing AML checks, risk assessments and compliance tasks
*Ensuring all matters meet SRA, CQS and internal regulatory requirements
*Completing monthly reviews, file audits and compliance actions
*Maintaining accurate records within the case management system
*Supporting business development through articles, online presence and firm promotion
About You*Experienced Conveyancer with strong residential property knowledge
*Confident in managing your own caseload from start to finish
*Strong understanding of AML, SRA and CQS compliance requirements
*Excellent communication skills and client care standards
*Able to supervise, mentor and support junior staff
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment
