A fantastic secondary school in Waltham Forest is looking to appoint an experienced SEN Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a student requiring high levels of daily support.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity for someone with experience in education, healthcare or care settings.
Responsibilities*Providing dedicated support throughout the school day
*Assisting with personal care and toileting
*Supporting feeding requirements
*Following allergy management plans
*Helping the student access learning
*Working closely with teaching staff and parents
*Maintaining the student’s safety and wellbeing
Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am-3:30pm.
RequirementsWe’re looking for someone who is:
*Compassionate and patient
*Experienced supporting SEND
*Comfortable with personal care
*Reliable and committed
*A strong team player
*Passionate about inclusive education
