Do you have experience supporting children with complex additional needs?
An excellent secondary school in Islington is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to a student requiring full-time personal and educational assistance.
Duties Include*Supporting entry and exit from school each day
*Full personal care and toileting support
*Feeding assistance during breaks and lunchtime
*Following strict allergy management procedures
*Supporting engagement within lessons
*Liaising with teaching staff and SEN professionals
*Promoting independence and confidence
Working hours are 8:00am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
The Successful Candidate Will Have*Experience working with SEND
*A caring and proactive nature
*Confidence supporting intimate care
*Excellent communication skills
*The ability to build trusting relationships
*Commitment to a full academic year
