Tradewind Recruitment are working alongside a supportive secondary school in Haringey to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a student with significant care and medical needs on a full-time basis.
This role would suit someone with experience in education, care, support work or healthcare who is passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential.
Your Responsibilities*Providing dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day
*Supporting all aspects of personal care and toileting
*Assisting with feeding during breaks and lunchtime
*Ensuring allergy procedures are followed at all times
*Supporting safe arrival and departure each day
*Encouraging independence wherever possible
*Working alongside school staff and external agencies
Hours are 8:00am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
We’re Looking ForApplicants should have:
*Previous SEN or care experience
*A caring, patient and resilient attitude
*Confidence supporting personal care
*Strong communication skills
*The ability to remain calm under pressure
*A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people
