Exciting Science Teaching Opportunity in Medway
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join a highly regarded Grammar School in Medway from September 2026 through to December 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented educator to make a positive impact within a successful and ambitious school environment, with a temp-to-perm opportunity available for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will be passionate about Science education and able to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach Key Stage 5 being advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons that inspire and challenge students.
*Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum and departmental expectations.
*Monitor and support student progress, ensuring all learners achieve their full potential.
*Contribute positively to the wider school community and departmental activities.
*Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
*Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.
*Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
*The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
