Immediate opportunity for an organised, customer-focused administrator to join a busy Housing Property Services team.
The Role
We are seeking a Technical Support Officer to provide high-quality administrative and customer service support across Housing Property Services, including Repairs & Maintenance, Engineering, and Compliance. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting both internal teams and external customers.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage and progress work orders from receipt through to completion and invoicing
*Handle customer enquiries via phone, face-to-face, and internal channels
*Provide administrative and technical support across Housing and Property Services
*Maintain accurate records and update databases in line with data protection requirements
*Raise purchase orders, process invoices, and support financial administration
*Liaise with tenants, contractors, trades, and colleagues regarding ongoing works
*Prepare documents, letters, and maintain filing systems
*Take and circulate accurate minutes for team and contract meetings
*Support team training and provide guidance to colleagues where required
*Professionally handle complaints, queries, and service requests
About You
*Previous experience in an administrative or support role (housing or property services preferred)
*Strong organisational and multitasking skills
*Excellent communication and customer service abilities
*Confident working with IT systems, databases, and finance systems
*Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
*High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
*Professional, tactful, and able to manage challenging situations
