Full job descriptionAccounts Receivable Specialist (12-Month FTC) – London – Hybrid – up to £36,000


We’re hiring for a leading organisation in the sports and events sector, renowned for delivering some of the UK’s most iconic sporting events.


This exciting 12 month FTC is for a Accounts Receivable Specialist is joining a collaborative finance team in a broad, end-to-end Accounts Receivable role. You’ll take ownership of the sales ledger, play a key role in managing cash collection and customer accounts, and support wider finance activities in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities
*Manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivable process, ensuring invoices are raised accurately and on time.
*Take ownership of aged debt, proactively chasing outstanding payments and resolving customer queries.
*Monitor and manage the Accounts Receivable inbox, ensuring all enquiries are dealt with promptly.
*Produce regular cashflow updates and support reporting for senior finance stakeholders.
*Assist with month-end activities, including bank reconciliations and finance reporting.
*Support year-end audit requirements and provide additional assistance across the finance team when required.


We’re looking for
*2+ years experience in an Accounts Receivable or Credit Control position.
*Good understanding of the wider finance function, ideally with exposure to Accounts Payable
*Strong Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems.
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
*A proactive team player who enjoys working in a busy, collaborative finance environment.
