Full job descriptionMichael Page are partnering with a successful business looking for a Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.
Client Details
Our client is based in Southampton, and due to a busy period and various ongoing projects, the finance team is looking for additional support.
Description
*Manage credit control processes, including monitoring and chasing outstanding payments.
*Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and customer interactions.
*Prepare detailed reports on account statuses and outstanding debts.
*Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies effectively.
*Ensure compliance with organisational policies and industry regulations.
*Provide excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders.
*Assist in the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures.
*Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad hoc tasks as required.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
*Previous experience in credit control or a similar accounting role.
*Strong knowledge of financial systems and accounting principles.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
*Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
*Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
