?? About the Role
As an HGV Class 1 Weekend Driver, you will be responsible for:
*Completing daily vehicle checks to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to operate
*Arriving on time for your scheduled duties and informing the traffic office of any issues or delays
*Following all company procedures, customer requirements and the Highway Code
*Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times
*Completing all deliveries and collections as detailed on the manifest
*Complying with all EU Tachograph and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations
*Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy and presentable
? Skills & Experience Required
To be considered for this role, you will need:
*A full LGV C+E (Class 1) Licence
*A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
*A valid Digital Tachograph Card
*Good communication skills
*Experience operating double-deck trailers
*Experience with containers (dock-compliant drivers would be advantageous)
*A flexible and reliable approach to work
