*Manage a portfolio of private clients, ensuring their tax affairs are compliant and optimised.
*Provide expert advice on complex tax matters, including inheritance tax and capital gains tax planning.
*Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.
*Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering tailored tax solutions to meet their needs.
*Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing technical expertise.
*Identify opportunities for tax planning and communicate these effectively to clients.
*Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensure clients are informed of relevant updates.
*Collaborate with other departments to offer a holistic business services approach.
Profile
A successful Private Client Tax Manager should have:
*A professional tax qualification such as CTA, ACA or ACCA.
*Strong technical knowledge of private client tax, including inheritance tax and capital gains tax.
*Proven experience managing a portfolio of private clients.
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
*A proactive approach to identifying and implementing tax planning opportunities.
*Strong communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.
