The role
As an Employment Associate in Dundee, you’ll advise clients on the full spectrum of employment law matters while building long-term relationships across a diverse client base.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Advising on unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and breach of contract disputes
*Supporting clients through Employment Tribunal proceedings
*Providing day-to-day advice on disciplinary, grievance and absence management issues
*Assisting with redundancies, restructures and workforce change projects
*Advising on TUPE matters and employment aspects of corporate transactions
*Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, service agreements and workplace policies
*Delivering training sessions and legal updates to clients
*Working closely with colleagues across other practice areas to provide joined-up advice
*Participating in networking and business development activities
About you
This role would suit an Employment Solicitor who:
*Has experience in employment law, ideally at Associate level
*Has handled both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
*Has experience of Employment Tribunal work
*Demonstrates excellent drafting and communication skills
*Takes a commercial and pragmatic approach to client advice
*Enjoys developing client relationships and growing their professional network
*Works effectively both independently and as part of a team
*Is organised and capable of managing a varied workload
