We are seeking an experienced Interim Procurement Manager to lead the mobilisation of two high-profile contracts within a fast-paced organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with strong supplier transition and implementation experience to take ownership of two business-critical projects.
The RoleYou will be responsible for delivering the successful mobilisation of:
*Travel Management Contract - Transition from the existing provider to a new supplier.
*Events & Venue Management Contract - Mobilisation and implementation of a new supplier.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, you will manage both projects in parallel, ensuring successful implementation, strong governance and a seamless transition into business as usual.
Key Responsibilities*Lead the end-to-end mobilisation of both contracts.
*Review and update the existing Travel Policy, ensuring it is fit for purpose and aligned with organisational requirements and, where appropriate, the wider organisational Travel Policy.
*Develop and manage detailed mobilisation plans, including milestones, dependencies, governance, risks and mitigation actions.
*Act as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders and suppliers throughout the mobilisation process.
*Coordinate staff engagement and communications, working closely with Internal Communications to keep colleagues informed.
*Establish a network of business Super Users to provide first-line support during and after implementation.
*Oversee the creation of user accounts within the new travel management system, coordinating the collection, validation and upload of user data.
*Develop and implement a robust transition plan for existing and future travel bookings, ensuring business continuity throughout the change.
*Coordinate supplier onboarding activities, including system configuration, testing and readiness assessments.
*Develop and deliver training and user adoption plans ahead of implementation.
*Monitor mobilisation progress, providing regular updates to the Head of Procurement and key stakeholders, escalating risks and issues where appropriate.
*Lead the successful go-live of the new Travel Management Contract, providing hands-on support during implementation and the weeks immediately following launch.
*In parallel, manage the mobilisation of the new Events & Venue Management Contract, ensuring both workstreams are delivered successfully.
About YouYou will have:
*Proven experience managing supplier transitions and mobilising outsourced service contracts.
*Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
*Experience delivering supplier mobilisation, implementation planning and operational readiness activities.
*Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
*Experience of travel management systems or corporate travel procurement would be advantageous.
*Public sector procurement experience is desirable.
