What you’ll do as Business Manager
This role is all about driving performance, building strong relationships and creating opportunities for growth. You’ll lead from the front, empowering your team to deliver exceptional service while ensuring the branch achieves its commercial objectives.
As Business Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
*Leading, coaching and developing a team of recruitment professionals to drive engagement, productivity and performance
*Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, workers and key stakeholders across your region
*Driving business growth through client retention, new business development and expansion of existing accounts
*Creating and implementing branch business plans aligned to company objectives and targets
*Monitoring and analysing performance data, identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies, profitability and service levels
*Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, company policies and recruitment best practices, including Agency Worker Regulations (AWR), National Minimum Wage (NMW) and Right to Work requirements
*Managing branch budgets, forecasts and financial performance to achieve revenue and profit targets
*Overseeing recruitment activity to ensure clients’ workforce requirements are met effectively and efficiently
*Understanding local labour market trends, competitor activity and market opportunities
*Supporting the resolution of escalated client, worker and operational issues
*Conducting regular performance reviews and development conversations with team members
*Working collaboratively with operational and support teams to deliver exceptional service to clients and workers
*Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across branch operations

*You’ll have excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
*You’ll have strong organisational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively
*Most importantly though, you’ll be tenacious, driven and passionate about delivering excellent service while creating opportunities for growth.
