CROYDON – HYBRID WORKING – PERMANENT – GROWING FACILITIES MANAGEMENT BUSINESS
£45,000 – £50,000 + BONUS + BENEFITS
We’re recruiting a Finance Business Partner to join a growing Facilities Management business based in Croydon.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a commercially focused organisation where finance plays a key role in supporting operational performance and driving business improvement.
The business continues to grow and is looking for a proactive finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, improving processes and delivering meaningful commercial insight.
Working closely with operational teams, you’ll take ownership of a broad portfolio of contracts, providing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis that supports better decision-making across the business.
This is a varied, hands-on role that offers plenty of stakeholder exposure and the opportunity to influence performance across multiple sites.
You’ll be joining a collaborative finance team with a strong focus on continuous improvement, where your ideas will be welcomed and your development supported.
WISH LIST
*Experience in Management Accounts, Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering
*Previous exposure to a multi-site, contract-led or service-based environment would be advantageous
*Comfortable managing high-volume reporting, reconciliations, invoicing and budgeting
*Strong commercial awareness with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders
*Proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
*Confident using Excel and working with large data sets
THE ROLE
*Produce and review monthly management accounts across a portfolio of contracts
*Deliver meaningful financial reporting and commercial insight to operational stakeholders
*Take ownership of key balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy
*Partner with operational teams to review monthly performance and explain financial results
*Support the preparation and review of client invoicing and contract reporting
*Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls and month-end efficiency
*Analyse revenue, costs and contract performance, highlighting risks and opportunities
*Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting across multiple business areas
*Prepare financial packs for stakeholder review and commercial decision-making
*Work closely with finance and operations to improve reporting, systems and processes
*Contribute to ongoing finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
YOUR PROFILE
*Previous experience as a Management Accountant or Finance Business Partner
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
*Excellent analytical ability with strong attention to detail
*Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
*Comfortable working with large volumes of financial data and reporting
*Able to build strong relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
*Self-motivated, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
SALARY & BENEFITS
*£45,000 – £50,000 + discretionary bonus
*Hybrid working – up to 3 days in the office following probation
*Permanent position
