We are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our client’s busy manufacturing team in Medway Towns. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.
Working with stainless steel, Zintec and aluminium, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding a range of specialist products including HVAC units to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
*Fabricate and TIG weld components using stainless steel, Zintec and aluminium.
*Set up welding equipment to suit individual projects.
*Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
*Produce high-quality finished products with excellent attention to detail.
*Work efficiently to production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues across the factory.
*Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
*Be willing to work overtime when required.
About You
The ideal candidate will be reliable, self-motivated and committed to producing work of the highest standard.
You will have:
*Previous TIG welding and fabrication experience.
*Experience welding 1.2mm stainless steel and polishing finished products.
*Experience using a variety of welding equipment and welding techniques.
*The ability to use both electrical and manual tools safely and effectively.
*The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
*A good understanding of Health & Safety within a manufacturing environment.
*Excellent attention to detail and a positive, team-focused attitude.
