Job Description:
Full job descriptionFreightserve recruitment are looking for Operations Technicians for a well-established niche sector Freight Forwarder that specialises within Fine Arts. The company is based in the Ashford, Middlesex area.
Key Responsibilities
*Interior designer installations.
*Handling high-value furniture, artwork and decorative items.
*Export packing to museum and international shipping standards.
*Condition reporting.
*Loading and unloading vehicles.
*Working across both warehouse and road operations.
*Representing The Company professionally when working directly with their clients.
*The ability to work calmly and effectively as part of a team.
*White glove collections and deliveries.
*A full UK driving licence (Preferred)
*The role involves regular travel throughout the UK and occasional overseas travel.
Required experience:-
*Experience within fine art, luxury interiors, specialist removals, museum logistics or a similar sector.
*Excellent attention to detail and a professional manner.
*Strong communication and customer service skills.
Overtime Rate:-
*Monday to Friday: 1.25x hourly rate
*Saturday: 1.5x hourly rate
*Sunday & Bank Holidays: 2.0x hourly rate
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:00 or 08:00 - 17:00
