Full job descriptionJob Purpose:
*This medium size accountancy firm based in a prime location in Central London is looking for a new member of staff to join their busy and growing accountancy and business services department.
*The aim is to provide first class accountancy services to a wide range of clients from the Film, TV, Creative, Media and Entertainment sectors.
*Most clients will be small to medium in size but will include some groups and international companies.

Responsibilities:
*Your role will be varied and include the preparation of both FRS 102 and 105 statutory accounts from start to finish, drafting corporation tax returns, personal tax returns and managing your own small portfolio of clients to prepare their VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments.
*Training and support will be provided where necessary.
Requirements:
*Between 1 and 2 years experience in a good quality accountancy firm.
*Must either be fully AAT Qualified and looking to start the ACA or ACCA or completed no more than 6 ACA or ACCA exams.
*Experience of preparing statutory accounts, basic corporation tax returns, VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments is required.
*Experience of cloud based software packages.
*A desire to learn, progress and do well in a medium size accountancy firm based in Zone 1 Central London.
