We’re partnering with a growing and well-established business looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to lead a small team and oversee the day-to-day running of a busy Accounts Payable function.

The Role!
As the Accounts Payable Manager, you’ll take ownership of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring the team delivers a first-class service to both suppliers and the wider business.
You’ll be responsible for:
*Leading, motivating and developing a small Accounts Payable team.
*Managing the day-to-day Accounts Payable function to ensure service levels are maintained.
*Acting as the first point of escalation for supplier queries and payment issues.
*Reviewing payment runs and approving invoices before final authorisation.
*Ensuring month-end activities, reconciliations and reporting are completed accurately and on time.
*Managing company credit card accounts, reconciliations and associated administration.
*Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
*Conducting regular one-to-one meetings, performance reviews and team meetings.
*Completing daily bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
*Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and system efficiencies.
*Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
*Ensuring robust financial controls are maintained to minimise risk and protect the business.
