Conveyancing Paralegal | Exeter | Full-time | Office Based

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join their busy Residential Conveyancing team in Exeter.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, well-established firm with a strong reputation across the South West, where you’ll play an integral role supporting residential property transactions from instruction through to post-completion.

The role You’ll be involved in all aspects of the conveyancing process, including:
• Preparing draft contract packs
• Raising and responding to sale enquiries
• Ordering searches
• Assisting with exchanges and completions
• Preparing completion statements, SDLT returns and Land Registry searches
• Managing post-completion matters
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and third parties by phone and email
• Producing legal documents using the firm’s case management system
• Supporting fee earners across multiple offices using digital dictation
• Providing occasional lunchtime or holiday reception cover within the Exeter office

About you You’ll ideally have:
• Previous experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal within a residential conveyancing team
• A good understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to post-completion
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
• The ability to prioritise a busy workload and work independently
• Strong communication and client care skills
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
• A proactive, positive approach and willingness to support the wider team
