Full job descriptionProduction Manager
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Production Manager to join a manufacturing company based in Andover. This is a permanent, full time position.
Responsibilities as a Production Manager:
*Overseeing manufacturing and production processes
*Creating and execute daily, weekly, monthly production schedules
*Procuring factory production equipment and taking responsibility for its maintenance in liaison with maintenance engineer
*Striving to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines
*Maintaining hygienic conditions for both employees and the factory itself
*Implementing all the company’s procedures and policies
*Communicating any problems or obstacles to senior management
*Monitoring productivity rates, standards and quality control
*Training and coaching Factory Operatives
*Implementing safety, health, environment and quality requirements
*Chair weekly operations meeting
*Liaise daily with admin team ref delivery issues
Requirements for this position:
*Minimum 5 years Production management experience
*SAP proficient
*Excellent leaderships skills
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The Production Manager Role:
*£40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
*Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm, Friday – 8am – 2.30pm
*Monthly targeted bonus available
*20 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and Christmas shutdown and an extra day off for your birthday
*Bupa private medical after 6 months probationary period
