Full job descriptionEYFS / KS1 Primary Teacher - EOTAS TuitionQuantum Scholars is seeking a qualified EYFS or KS1 Primary Teacher to deliver 1:1 tuition and personalised learning support for a primary-aged pupil accessing Education Other Than At School (EOTAS) in Wokingham.
This is a rewarding opportunity to have a genuine impact on a young person’s educational journey through tailored, home-based tuition.
The Role*Deliver 12 hours of one-to-one tuition per week (working days to be agreed)
*Plan and deliver personalised learning tailored to the pupil’s individual needs and abilities
*Build a positive, trusting, and supportive relationship with the learner
*Encourage engagement, confidence, and independence
*Monitor progress and provide written feedback where required
*Work independently within a home-based learning environment
About the PupilYou will be supporting a primary-aged learner who is non-verbal and has complex additional needs. We are looking for a compassionate and adaptable teacher who has experience supporting children with SEND and can create a calm, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.
RequirementsThe successful candidate will have:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Experience supporting children or young people with SEND and/or SEMH needs
*A patient, nurturing, and flexible approach
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*The confidence to work independently in a home-based setting
*A genuine passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential
Contract Details*Start Date: September 2026
*Duration: Ongoing throughout the academic year
*Hours: 12 hours per week
*Location: Home-based tuition in Wokingham
